Rate limits
Rate limits keep the platform fast and fair. They're enforced per client and reset on a rolling window.
| Category | Typical limit | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Default | Standard per-minute limit | Most endpoints |
| Auth | Tighter per-minute limit | Login, signup, and other auth routes |
| Orin | Dedicated per-minute limit | Orin scoring and recommendation endpoints |
Handling 429
A
429 (RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED) means you're sending requests too quickly. Back off and retry after a short delay — limits reset on a rolling window.Daily AI quotas
Separately from per-minute rate limits, Orin calls are subject to a daily quota that depends on your plan. When you hit it you'll see ORIN_QUOTA_EXCEEDED; quotas reset at midnight IST.
